Out of curiosity, which module(s) is this data stored or updated to? APIM? Was it 10.1.0?

I have heard of some local people experiencing the same thing and I want to understand this a little more....

Bigger question is that ... is it really the data, even though I have a speed limit sign recognition and predictive speed assist options turned off?

This has never happened with my truck until the last month to month and half... so I am just how this can be occurring if those options are turned off.

I am always trying to learn how these trucks work!
In my case it 100% has to be the data because there were no speed signs around each time the truck decided to slow down.

Did someone get into the lane I front of you and do you have your adaptive cruise control on?
Nope. No one got in front of me. I understand how adaptive cruise control works.

Try turning off the speed recognition, and see if that changes anything. I wonder if it also does it based on database information? Worth a shot.
Not a bad idea. It happens when there are no signs around, so I know it's not actually reading a speed change. Curious if there's some database issue (although that it doesn't happen in the same places every time probably suggests that's not it, either). Still, it's worth a shot!

In the Cruise Control seetings I turned of the Predictive Speed Assist. It does not do the auto slowdowns when the truck sees a new sign or speed limit zone.
The Adaptive cruise is still good too; the lane assist, car lengths in front of you assist, all still are good.
I tried the Tolerance setting to 5 mph but it still automatically slowed down to the speed limit at a new speed limit roadsign.
