Questions about Starky LED bed lighting kit

I have a 2024 Lariat PB that I just got last December. It was bought on the EOY sale so I had to find one at a local dealer that had what I wanted. It does not have the bed utility package. Not a big deal, but I want to deal with a couple shortcomings, and one is the bed lighting. It looks like it will do exactly what I want, but because I have installed a swing tool box in the bed, one of the lights will be blocked. So I plan to also buy a waterproof LED strip for each side and tap it into the Starky light wiring right behind the lights before I put them in and then run the LED strip wiring up to under the rail where the strips will be mounted.

Anyone done this? Are there any issues I am missing or any suggestions you may have about my plans?

I just posted, but I can answer my own question. I reached out to Starky on their web chat and here is their response:

“Hi - Thanks for reaching out. Yes, you sure can. Also if you can hang in there for a week or so, we will have a add-on kit that allows you to plug into the existing plug and wire in any additiojnal lighting accessory you might want. We will have the harness-only for sale and a harness/ light package as well.”

Great post. I bought a '24 PB XLT and it did not have the bed lighting either. I am looking to do the exact same thing with the bed lighting. Let me know how it goes and post some pics.
