Hello, I've found FORScan spreadshet for 2021+ F150 by Livnitup. The IPC section came to me really handy as all of the addreses have description and they work on 2018+ digital cluster I'm going to retrofit to my 2017 Mustang (swap from analogue IPC).

I was able to prepare myself programming for whole IPC section, I had to disable various features my car doesn't support, did AsBuilt comparisons with different 2018+ cars that come with digital dash from the factory, etc...

However, I left myself a note on some addreses and I would like to ask on what's unclear. Maybe someone experienced can give me some information on those, and what is their purpose:
IPC

720-10-01: *xxx xxxx xx--
This changes Transmission Temperature Curve (TTC), the 2018+ mustangs seem to use TTC Table A: 10R80, 8F24, 8F57, 9F35, 9F40, 8F35 what makes sense, since 2018+ got 10R80 tranmission, however my 2017 should use TTC Table C: 6R80, 6R140, 6R100, HF35, HF45 since I have 6R80 only. However I'm also able to use third option which is TTC Not Used. So now I'm not sure what does this affect. I have an option to disable it completely or use TTC Table C.. But even if I use table C I'm not sure if my car has such feature till I won't know what does Transmission Temperature Curve affect...

720-04-01: xx** xxxx xx--
This changes FuelG_InitStep (FGIS), the digital cluster should use FGIS Init_Step 2, but when I compared it to my asbuilt (analogue IPC) I have FGIS Init_Step 0 set. By the name I assume it's something about Fuel Gauge?

720-04-01: *xxx xxxx xx--
What is difference between IFEN Graphical and IFEN Numeric value? Have no clue but US Mustangs use graphical and EU (export) Mustangs use numeric..

720-09-01: xxxx xx*x xx--
This changes Infotainment Control Mirror (ICM), it should be enabled but I cannot compare it with my AsBuilt since my analogue ipc doesn't even have that address. What could it do?

Thanks.

You shouldn't be using my 2021+ IPC spreadsheet for a 2018 cluster; you should be using something appropriate for the 2018 you have. I doubt things like "Infotainment Control Mirror (ICM)" would even work on a 2017 with Sync 3. Your best bet would probably be finding a 2018 Mustang VIN that shipped with the digital cluster and use those values for the most part.

Thanks for the reply, yes I am aware of everything you just said. The thing is I have spreadsheet for some values for Mustang, but some on the higher addresses (720-06-xx and up) were missing so then I found your spreadsheet. When I compared lower addresses they also had same description that's why I believe the same IPC addresses are used in Mustang Digital cluster as well. That cluster is still the feature from 2018 up to 2023, that's why I think it's possible the IPC works the same way.

I also did a lot of comparison from 2018 VIN AsBuilt with digital dash and could verify that the set values were matching with the description in your spreadsheet. I have spent lot of time comparing AsBuilt files for my 2017 (EU), 2018 digital (EU) and 2018 digital (US) and I see the connections and differences on all the addresses.

The ICM enabled is for example from that 2018 AsBuilt, it has Sync 3 as well so I just wondered what is actually does, just like the other listed features I have noted. Rest was no problem and pretty straightforward
