I have a 24 F150 and I am changing the tire size from 275/60/20 to 285/65/20, I want to use FORScan to adjust the speedometer. Are we able to use FORScan on the 24 models? And has anyone done this for the sizes and willing to share the process?

Yes I've used it on my 2024 F-150 but I have not done anything with tire sizes, just the other changes that I want to make.

Go into the body control module (i think) and type in tire and you can change the size by millimeters. In your case your going from 2631 to 2758 mm.

I did the same thing on my '21. It takes a few minutes to get an accurate speed. I downloaded a speedometer app on my phone to use as a benchmark speed. There is a field in Forscan that you have to change to change the speedo reading. I went to an area with straight flat highway to make the changes and test the results. You make a small change in the numeric in the field and see whether you need to go up or down in that change, then just fine tune it. I just took my laptop with me and made the changes on the shoulder of the road. I think all told, it took me 15-20 minutes. I would think that you can still do this on the 2024s. Good luck!

As stated above, to get an accurate reading, you will need to figure out the difference between GPS speed and reported speed and then adjust the current size by that percentage. Im running 34" tires and I think I am ~31" for that value to get an accurate speedometer reading.

The procedure and settings are on the spreadsheet. Setting the tire size in BCM using Easy Mode to be close. Use the precise procedure from the link in the spreadsheet for best results but again using Easy Mode to set tire circumference. Don't forget to last step reset the PCM to get rid of DTC.

For MY23 XLT setting to 2712mm actual calculated and measured of my Falkens resulted in an inaccurate speedo, 3+mpg off. But when set to 2600mm I got much closer to GPS measure speed match. Let us know what your results are please.
