So when I got my 2021 Lariat a couple months ago, I hooked up to forscan and made a few quick changes (seal belt minder, numbers on gauges, and headlamps dont default to auto). A couple weeks after that I took it to the dealer I bought it from for them to update the software as part of our deal. I never thought about putting all my forscan adjustment back to stock. They updates a few modules but not all of the ones all the ones I wanted. Yesterday, I went to put everything back to stock since my Mongoose is supposed to be here today so I can finish the updates that the dealer didnt do. When I tried to use the Forscan feature that automatically pulls the stock asbuilt files from from Motorcraft service website, nothing changed. So I went to the website, looked and compared their numbers to what my forscan number are and they matched. The only problem was that the numbers in my forscan are for the changes I made when I got the truck. Is it possible that when they updated the modules and me forgetting to put it back to stock that it set those values as the asbuilt? I ended up getting it back to stock from where I made a back up before making any changes. It just seemed odd to me.

Yes. Eventually your as built changes are updated with the Ford cloud and it becomes your new as-built set
