question and possible assistance with fdrs updates

Hi im not sure if anyone can help me or maybe just answer a question. I recently just did all the software updates with fdrs on my 2021 f150 platinum powerboost. I am left with 2 updates the ACM which i did twice and still pops up and the BCM which asks me for security credentials that i dont have. my sync is version 24127 and software updates says up to date I took truck for quick test ride and some features havent appeared yet (blue cruise and bed camera thumbnail not sure what else) i did get the blue cruise notification on ford pass that its active. So question is will it eventually come thru with couple drive cycles or do i need to have the BCM updated by the dealer or a sercurity person?

My understanding is that the two updates not completed, one would have to be done at the dealer, ie, you can't do it and the other has to be done at the dealer, but requires an authorized person at the dealer with the password access to something related to the NTSB. That said, do let us know if you BC comes on as you have done all the modules possible. It maybe that they have to be enabled (1.4) in Forscan if I remember correctly (not sure about that).

The ACM is common to not go away from the list that needs updating. No issue

The BCM does take a security login that none of us have. Hoping it might come OTA but haven’t heard of that myself yet

Sync 24127 is the latest at least as of about a week ago. Some rumors that another update may be starting to show.

The latest version of the IPMA that enables blue cruise to work on equipped vehicles requires you to have your seatbelt on for BC to work.

I’ve tried seat belt different roads and highways and no change just options I already had I was wondering if there was any way or if anyone might be able to help me to get the Bcm updated I live near Boston ma and not sure if the dealer of a shop or individual could help I’m really sad that I spent all the money and time and I ended up with no change I’ll keep searching but if anyone can help I really would appreciate it

hi rugedraw do you know if i need to do that bcm update to get bluecruise to work or is there some forscan setting that i have to do my ford pass says i have it already active

BCM update is not needed for bluecruise. Send me the VIN. Hopefully it's just the config in the IPMA and not something more complicated.
