hahaha! My reading says that after mid august 22 the issue was resolved? So I THINK I'm on the more safe side.... I think!Very large Piggy Bank to save for a possible transmission rebuild.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. That's good to hear. I have a newer truck and it worry's me if it's really fixed.hahaha! My reading says that after mid august 22 the issue was resolved? So I THINK I'm on the more safe side.... I think!

In general, it seems beneficial to go with aftermarket products instead of Ford OEM. For formats, both Husky and Weathertech make high quality products that are known to fit nicely in these trucks. Likewise with rear wheel well liners.Question: Is there a legit Ford parts website to order things cheaper than dealer cost? Looking to pick up the all weather floor mats and would like to get them a little less than the $225 cost I believe is dealer pricing.
Thanks for your list as I am looking up some of the things. I can decide if I like the Husky mats more than the weather tech. I really like the OEM cause of the lettering/branding but I also want more carpet coverage so aftermarket makes sense.Very nice looking truck! Someone else suggested waiting just a bit before diving headfirst into big time mods. Seems like good advice.
I’ve kept my ‘22 XLT PowerBoost 302A more or less stock. Here are the few things I added.
- CERAMIC COATING! Cannot say enough good things about this. I had it done professionally - a bit spendy but sooo worth it.
- Spray in bed liner (LineX) and undercoating. I am a big fan of spray in bed liners.
- Husky floor mats
- Rear wheel well liners
- mud guards front and rear
- Retrax Pro XR rolling tonneau cover (I have a 6.5’ bed so could afford the space).
- Gorilla low profile aero bars over the bed for mounting our tandem carrier.
- the doodad that connects to the release for the rear seat, driver’s side.
That’s about it. Mostly utilitarian stuff. It suits me just fine.
