So I’ve now I’ve got the Toyo AT3’s 285/65/20’s and really like them as they seem a bit smoother that the BFG KO2’s but I live in south Texas and only from what I’ve heard from people living North Texas is that they’re no different than the KO2’s in the snow as they owned them but agreed that the Toyo AT3’s ride slightly smoother as they’re not as beefy side wall as the KO2’s. All in all they’re my first Toyos (Huge KO2 Fan) and only a few weeks old with Zero snow experience but they’re 3 peak rated. I’ll definitely post a review on this build out and my experience of these tires. I’d avoid Nitto Ridge Grapplers like the plague as they’re horrible in the rain once you hit around 13k miles and that’s my own experience with two sets.

They do well in the snow. I had them on my last truck in 33s and no complaints. Not near as good as a dedicated winter tire but better than a standard all season.

Absolutely correct but IMO if I lived in a snowy part I’d 100% buy the KO2’s as their siping runs all the way through their lugs where as the new Toyo AT3’s now better than the previous AT2’s now have better deeper siping so I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how they do especially in the rain.
