True - I paid invoice but doc fees were either $495 or $595 of pure profit. Plus holdback on a $70k truck and what they made on my immaculate trade they probably netted at least $5k in the end.

After further consideration, I realized I'm not patient enough to wait for the prices to come down enough to hit my goal of $50k out-the-door or if that was just too ambitious for a new vehicle in the first place. Found a great truck and made what I feel to be a great deal. $57k out-the-door (taxes and all) 2024 PB Avalanche FX4, 302a mid, Max Trailer Tow package, 7.2 on-board, bed liner, tint, and "Texas Edition".
Considering what I'm coming from, 2000 Dodge Dakota 4x4 w/ 5 speed manual, no auto anything, and no a/c (yes, I said no a/c... in Texas, I'm not smart), this thing is the most incredible vehicle I have ever owned. I'm blown away. Thanks guys for all the advice and knowledge.
