I can say I upgraded my front cool overs and rear shocks added a rear sway bar and that made a world of difference towing.

It’s a 36’ TT so I feel every passing car and every tiny gust.
With a 36' TT you've got a lot of area to be affected by aerodynamic forces. What's your typical 'loaded for travel' total trailer weight for that monster? And corresponding tongue weight? If you haven't taken you rig to a CAT Scale for multiples passes (one pass with truck-only; one pass with the whole rig, WDH disengaged) so you know that real-world data, you certainly should.
  • (total weight of combined rig with WDH disengaged) minus (total weight of truck-only) = Total Trailer Weight
  • (weigh of steer+drive axles with trailer hitched with WDH disengaged) minus (total weight of truck-only) = Trailer Tongue Weight
  • If you make a third pass of the whole rig with the WDH engaged, you can get the actual truck axle-loads (steer and drive) when towing.
Feeling some short-duration 'feedback' from passing vehicles and wind gusts is not the same as dread sway.

The dread sway is an increasing amplitude trailer motion which can lead to loss of control, very different from a bit of very short-duration feedack.

As long as your rig 'settles down' promptly after vehicles pass or wind gusts, you don't have a "sway" issue. Just relax, don't try to overcorrect, and roll with it.

BTW, even with a Hensley those normal and inevitable short-duration aerodynamic forces must be resolved, and result in 'feedback' to the tow vehicle, it just has a different 'feel'.

Very glad I joined this forum, everyone has been so helpful. I think I've been convinced to hold off on the ProPride for the time being, it seems hard to justify the cost.

I bought my pro pride from face book used for $1,000. I first tried a Anderson hitch it towed ok, but with the pro pride I have no sway with my, 28' long, 12.6' tall toy hauler. I still feel the suck and blow with semi's. I would of gone with a different hitch if I didnt find the pro pride for so cheap.

Just an update to this.... I got the propride and the backup assist works just fine with the yaw sensor. Doesn't work with the sticker.
