Pro Power 2kW gone on most trims?

Hey everyone,

With the release of the 24' build and price web page and order guide, I am struggling to find answers regarding the availability of 2 KW pro power. I can only find it when building out a Tremor with an ecoboost or 5.0.

If you try to do the same on any other trim (5.0 or 3.5 EB), its gone as an option. I wanted to order a lariat 5.0 and have the pro power on it for camping use. Dealers local to me have been no help. They are confused too.

Any one know the answer to this? Or where I can find an answer? Thanks!

If I have read the new build sheet properly, it looks like pro power is now standard across all trims.

Are you able to post that info here? I messaged Chapman Ford about a build and they told me its no longer a selectable option on their build portal

Man, they have had endless problems with the 2KwH Pro Power for the gas engines. I'm pretty sure they are offering it on Tremor because you can't option a Powerboost on Tremor, but otherwise I doubt they want to fool with it. Lots of ppl on here who got it say that the 400W inverter is about as capable since they rarely get anything approaching 2,000 watts out of the 2K PPO. Seems like the frequency it produces just doesn't work with a lot of electronics either.

I know I read it somewhere, but I am unable to find it again. I did a build and price on a 24 Platinum and pro power 2.0, as well as 36 gal tank are now std. Maybe that's what I saw, sorry.

I honestly haven’t heard a lot of bad things about it. I’ve heard probably 1000x more power boost problems than people mentioning the 2kw inverter. The fact that it defaults to ON was the complaint I heard the most. I used to it all the time while camping and never had any issues. They even offer it on the superduty now so you’d think they would continue it.

A couple of dealers I spoke to did confirm, though that it doesn’t appear to be available on anything other than a tremor, King Ranch, or higher. And obviously only the tremor V8 is the only option.
