Curious how these are looking with the various spay in liners. From the few pics I have seen, there are a few small areas on the tailgate that can use protection. Anyone have any photos of their PAT showing what areas they sprayed, if any?

I've got my Line-X scheduled next week with the PAT. It will be the first one they have done. Working closely with the owner to make it looks great.

@RedRaiderTX was kind enough to share his factory liner photo with me. Looks like Ford avoided the tailgate altogether.

What a cop out! I bet they didn't charge any less for this than a standard one where they sprayed the tailgate.

Mea Culpa. I was supposed to reply to this earlier. I'm sorry I didn't.

I used a local (Boerne, TX; SATX metro area) company. They did not spray the tailgate either. - Thus far, "like with the RAM and the GMC", liner manufacturers have not yet developed "safe" procedures to spray the gate.

Now, my installer said once the procedures are available, he'll, "complete the job at no extra cost."

Hey, thanks for the follow-up even if belated (No Worries!)

Interesting and a tad disappointing about the tailgate. I can't imagine the procedural concerns, especially with regard to the two 'end sections' (would seem those are analogous to the traditional gate with the work surface?), but it is what it is.

The bed looks great.

It looks fine on the AMB. It would look fine with Agate Black as well. Everything else will stand out like a sore thumb.

Hey Ford, seems like a pretty obvious solution would be to make the work surface cover all of the paint on the inside of the PAT.
