Anyone have a good tip for this? Had a couple of previous F150's, and they all ended up collecting a ton of swirl marks/micro scratches on these panels. Hoping to avoid making it worse on my current one. I always use the two bucket method when washing, and start with freshly cleaned washmits, and drying cloths, but still pick up the scratches.

Do a 2 bucket hand wash, professional ceramic coating helps, stay out of car washes (even the no touch can inbed micro dirt particles), buy a white one. I have a 21, got it ceramic coated and not one swirl mark.

My STX is matte, still look brand new. Shiny, means swirl marks..

Thanks for the feedback All! Does seem like these overlays may be the best solution to prevent them from getting worse, and hide what's there. Apart from ignoring it that is, which is what I did on my 2 previous F150s.

Only did the first wash yesterday, on my "new to me" 23 Platinum. Used the 2 bucket method as always. Don't know why they went with a glossy surface from the factory that's so easily scratchable.

Just have PPF applied to it. It will have the same gloss finish and won't swirl like paint
This is 100% the answer to all the B Pillar issues. Even if you already have scratches. The PPF will make them disappear. I have XPEL on the entire front of my truck, mirrors, and B Pillars. Best money I've spent on the truck.

I got mine used so it came with some swirls. Used Menzerna 2500 compound hand applied with a microfiber and got them out. Followed up with some Jescar sealant and good to go. Only microfibers to dry mine from here on.
