Powertrain malfunction: Has anyone seen this version yet?

So last week I had my 10,000 mile checkup and an oil change at the dealer. They gave me a clean bill of health. Then 2 days ago I started to get this message that my I didn't have a GPS signal so I couldn't connect to android auto (although navigation and maps still worked perfectly). So tonight I did a SYNC 4 reset while waiting for the wife to shop. Still didn't fix the android auto thing, but when I started my car up a half hour later to drive home I got the dreaded powertrain malfunction message. The throttle didn't seem to want to respond and limped the 2 miles home with poor throttle response and little acceleration. Never got above 40mph The engine was smooth except for some hard shifts going to 1st to 2nd and finally 3rd gear. I hooked up my OBD-II scanner and the codes are bellow for those of you who want to look at that.

What are the cha two might not be related but it seems kind of odd that the second time I start after resetting Sync this happens. (I turned the car on once to get some heat while I waited.)

Yes I have tried turning it off and on. I also did another reset of the Sync. No change. The truck starts up fine. But has an engine light on. I put it in gear and as soon as the engine comes on and I am in gear the error codes pop up and my truck starts to limp like a Ford Fiesta trying to pull a full size trailer loaded with bricks.


Also of note the vehicle lets me know that collision assist doesn't work and pro power is not available/has been disabled.

Would love to pull codes on the truck as well as monitor the Hybrid Battery SOC to see if it's below 40%

My theory being that there's a serious parasitic draw on the truck and has the 12V system draining the High Voltage battery below the allowed threshold.
But if that was true, the ICE would start almost immediately when you start the truck and it would not turn off.

Since you just had it in for service, I would check the engine bay for any unplugged sensors/harnesses/cables. Do you have a voltmeter?

Also, I just read about people doing underbody wash on these trucks and water getting into some wiring and causing a short circuit.

back to the original question, android auto is using the GPS in your phone, not your Sync system.
and I also see the GPS drop out at times in android audio, It seems to do it most when phone is in console, blocked by dash from receiving the GPS signals I assume?
