Powerboost vs Tremor

As some of you know, I have a 302A XLT Sport Powerboost supercrew 5.5 bed ordered anddddd a 401A Tremor……… I’m really into off road/aggressive trucks and plan to take my new truck to some off road parks here in my state (oklahoma) and on road trips/camping at National and smaller parks. I personally want the Tremor bc it’s an off road oriented f-150 that I can afford (opposed to Raptor now that I have a newborn:/) and I would modify it minimally (level, 35’s, maybe aftermarket leather seats) as opposed to the Powerboost my wife wants me to take home bc of the fuel economy, cheaper price tag (by $1,904), and the 7.2kwh generator………. The powerboost would need a level at the least, new tires, and a skid plate. Still not nearly as capable as the tremor but more efficient.

what do you guys think? Opinions wanted and needed! This will also be my daily driver- I have a 40 mile commute 5 days per week.

Is the Tremor spec out the same minus the PB and generator?

To be honest, it seems like you will be using it for off road, and although my PB XLT 302A High is awesome, once you put the lift kit and bigger tires you won’t be near the efficiency (as many have complained here) . My honorable $0.02 would be Tremor.

Yeah it’s practically the same equipment group as the 302A + off road goodies….. that’s what I’m thinking too. Just want my wife to understand but.. it’ll be my truck lol

out Of curiosity is the XLT FX4 package? If so you will have somewhat of an off road package with skid plates.

I would outweigh the cost to get the XLT to how you want vs the price of Tremor… and just know the PB stock doesn’t get advertise MPG already. The whole thing with PB is the 7.2 kW generator if you’ll use it.

and if your Tremor has the 2KW that’s like perfect middle ground ?

Yeah I made a spread sheet and the powerboost ends up more expensive by about 4k. Told my wife we can buy a generator at Lowe’s lmfao. But no it’s not an fx4… it got scheduled before I realized my mistake:/

Also, I’m going to need to get one of them leveled no matter which I go with. Can I just take it to discount tire and have the level installed along with tires? I’ve never done this before
