2022 Powerboost. I have been stranded twice in construction zones on extremely busy highways. The truck just turns off, with all sorts of dash alarms, and losing power steering simultaneously. Very unsafe and so glad my wife wasn’t driving at those times. The 1st time was within 20 miles of picking up the vehicle following a transmission rebuild by the dealer (which I did not bring it in for!). The 2nd time the transmission and engine coolant overheated as well and the outside air was in the 50’s. They are saying it needs a new battery! The starting (house) battery, not the hybrid battery. My confidence in the dealer and the vehicle are very low at this point. I’m apprehensive to let my other family members drive it or to take it out of town.
Curious about others experiencing this same “high voltage” alert and transmission overheating issues.

If you were getting some kind of a high voltage battery message, that is indeed the hybrid battery that is not the battery underneath the hood.

Yes, that is my thought as well. The dealer is adamant that it’s the AGM engine battery. They’re also saying now that they cannot find anything wrong with the transmission. I have attached a picture of the high-voltage battery alert.

Update: battery replaced as they said.
Latest trip towing the camper resulted in trans overheating frequently as before. No change - no surprise.
It's at the dealer again.

Are you running in tow mode? PB must be run in tow mode for any max weight or cargo/TT style trailer

Update: the dealer got the area Ford Service Engineer (FSE) involved. The FSE reported back that I should "GET SOMETHING BIGGER THAN A 3.5 HYBRID TO TOW THIS".

I am towing an Airstream camper and I have the max tow package. This vehicle is supposed to have 430hp, a load of torque, and rated for over 12k# towing. I can't believe what I'm hearing. They even show this vehicle pulling campers bigger than mine in the ads!

You didn't bother to read from the OWNER's PB-Series manual:

NO Towing
NO Water Exposure
NO Off-Roading
NO Seating Buck Naked (including wife beeters)
NO Smoking or Vaping Inside Cabin
NO Liquids Inside Cabin
NO Sideye Looks at Truck

Yes - and I have used this truck and 3 other EB F150's to pull this same Airstream all over the US in all conditions and never had any overheating issues until the dealer rebuilt the trans in September. Big problems ever since. It's like I'm in a twilight zone episode.

Anecdotal, but very convincing.
At least I'm convinced it's a result of the rebuild.
I know I'm spending your money, but I'd have the fluid level checked for over/under filled.

If that's not it, then maybe towing up some tough grades can fail it again?

Haven't looked at how the fluid returns from the hybrid drive unit but the way the mechanism works, I'm wondering if it could catch some contamination and hold an unusually large amount of fluid in the hybrid drive unit. RevQ has documented a 15c jump in temps when the ICE switches off and he's in hybrid mode w/ trans temps jumping up to 230.

After a lengthy discussion the dealer first offered to flush the system, then changed their mind ... they are going to rebuild the trans again.
