i had to shut it off about 1/2 hr prior so the truck would see the BOOT was closed ?

3x times toady it tried and failed

once was low SOC??
2nd i have no idea yet and third have no idea
i charged battery to 100 and started it and ran forscan alt was 14.7 but soc stayed at 51% after 30 mins.
so i did 22 mile drive, and at that location i selected it to update while i was in the office for 30 minutes
did the double honk and unlock and would not unlock
tried again in 1 minute. ford pass indicated failed update???
so i wet to get gas, left her running, drove home 21 miles
got home scheduled up date for 30 minutes from time i got home
just got alert it failed to update???
so now i am confused????/

What? It actually tells you to go to dealer for an OTA issue? ?

I finally got 6.5 today. It pinged me that it was ready while I was on my way to the dealership for my second ever oil change.

Got home, plugged in the battery charger and hit install. Only took like maybe 5 or 6 minutes and was successful on the first attempt.

We aren’t truck OTA twins anymore ‘Boatr. Let us know what the dealer says if you don’t end up getting lucky before then.

yes the response in ford pass was the preconditions were not met, then in capital letters is states
CALL DEALER
so i sent my guy a several page email to see what he can find
i need the axle wire recall as well, maybe that is tricking HAL into not playing well
i have one more set time for 10:10 tonight, then i am tossing in the towel
and let them see .
rugedraw helped me with SOC on battery for 1st 2 failures.
last one battery was at 70%
at 745 i put charger on and it read back down to 61..

dealer rep emailed me a few minutes ago the ford batteries are on back order right now
he is busy as a one armed paper hanger

Notified via FP last nite that 6.5 was ready. Checked this morning and it was successful.

waited 5 wks for 6.5. 2 days later, today, received notice 6.8 is coming tonite LOL.
