Possible IWE Vacuum Sound?

Not sure what this sound is, but it’s cyclical and heard at low speeds both slowing down and speeding up. Its sound somewhat metallic but not like a grinding noise its more of a chirp. If im driving next to a wall or a car I can really hear it. Its like the wheel spinning is echoing.

I know Ford did away with the older IWE stuff but im just trying to figure out what this is. Any help or advice would be awesome

Hard to say. Maybe a rock stuck in your brake pads?

Brake pad backing plate was the culprit, was just loose.

Sounds like the brakes to me.

Like the pads resting on the rotors.

Which they do even when you're not pressing the brakes (except for electric cars).

If so it sounds normal to me, they can make a little noise. Not much you can do about it.

Glad you figured it out! Those kind of noises make me nuts too

The thread title mislead me here... The 2021+ IWE systems are electric now. So hopefully better than the previous vacuum system...
