I have a question for all of you. I have a 2021 f150 lariat that I added roush rims and tires too. 305 general grabbers and satin black roush rims. They had a little rub so I hesitantly went with a rough country M1 2” level kit complete suspension front and rear,Had it installed two days ago. Love the stance, but at low speeds 5-15 mph, notice a vibration on driver side, switch to 4 wheel hi or 4 auto, and it disappears. Back to 2nd and it comes back, seems to drive on parkway at normal speeds with no vibrations. I’ve been doing my research and read up on the IWE, and in 2021 seems to have EIWE. My question is, I jacked up the truck turned the truck on, 2wd wheels spin freely, 4wd they lock as they should. So would that eliminate my EIWE, is thier something I can look for? Do these EIWE still use any vacuum? Even tho they are electronic? Do I have more vacuum driving at higher speeds? And that’s why the vibration goes away or is less noticeable? Thanks for any input. Greatly appreciate it. Also I am currently driving in 4auto to prevent anymore damage. Thank you in advance

This one is a little tricky. A strictly low speed vibration is odd. And in my experience vibes aren’t generally side specific, meaning they show up front or rear or via the steering wheel. Did you install yourself? Has the truck been aligned yet? Torqued fasteners with rubber bushings at ride height? Has everything been retorqued?

This was done at a suspension shop, not only do I feel that vibration on the driver side, I feel like I can hear it as well. I looked underneath and he marked all his bolts. So I do believe it is torques properly. And truck was road force balanced for rims and tires and aligned by them as well. Do you need to apply vacuum for the EIWE to be release for them to pull the axel out for them to work on it easier for new strut?

The Electric IWE does not use vacuum. So that wouldnt be an issue. If they didnt align and reinstall the axle shaft back into the IWE it could cause some issues. Make sure the nut is on the end of the axle shaft behind the wheel center cap.

Take the wheel and tire to the other side and see if that makes a difference.

Sounds like your lift brought about a vibration in the CV shaft

Is thier a way to fix this? It’s 2” level kit. Everything I look up it seems like EIWE, why when I engage 4wd would the vibration immediately go away with a cv shaft.and it’s
Only one side

If the axle shaft isn’t installed or seated properly you could be getting partial engagement. Take it apart and check it out. That would be step one.
