Yes that is the CX Revo. I liked the look of the more modern side windows as opposed to the framed windows. I also love that the locking mechanism is mated with the trucks so the key fob or truck electronics work it with the normal operation "lock - unlock" of the trucks.Nice rig- my topper looks nearly identical - CX Revo?
Do drop that oil and filter as soon as you can, just because you want to get any metal shavings out of the oil filter or any break-in debris. So , finally took possession of my new Powerboost. This involved flying from NY to Granger Iowa on 7-23 . I haven't flown in 38 years , and tried every way I could think of to avoid it this time. Sometimes you must bow to the will of the Universe. Better than expected flying experience got me into the capable hands of Chip at Granger Ford , Iowa at about 330 pm their time. Shelby and Chip are top notch , thanks guys if you see this. Chip helped with a basic setup and explanation and I was off back to NY , a 1200 mile trip. I received the truck with 29 miles. Got into my driveway 29 hours after leaving Granger. I'm really liking this truck so far. It was a long ride and I found the seats comfortable. The truck rides smooth and quiet. Oh , it's an XLT with the 303A package , I wanted the 20" wheels. Tow package , 7.2KW on board power.
In any case , I avoided Interstate 80 for at least the first 700 miles , for RT 30. It was easy to vary my speed to help with a good break in for the engine. Overall MPGs was 24.3 on the screen and 24.1 hand calculated. My driving style keeps me out of boost most of the time. Also , I was at 25.5 MPG on the screen until I hit the mountains in Pennsylvania , and started get heavier on the pedal after the first 700-800 miles. I'll be adding some mods with weight soon , an A.R.E. cap , going on today actually , and a Talons Garage aluminum skid plate / cat protector to be installed when I have the time. This might effect milage but the truck as it is could easly , IMO , regularly achieve 23 MPGs or a little better. Limited time for pictures , I got home after 11 last night and dropped it off for the bed cap 730 this morning. The included pic is in front of the ARE dealer.
My overall impression so far is a big thumbs up. Two things I was hoping to match the hype was the MPGs (fine there) and the ability to idle with the AC running at rest stops ( great there to) . The truck has plenty of power if you want it. I turned off alot of the "nanny" features and some other features. I did have the lane assist feature on. Which I really like. I'll try others in the future , but on a first trip , being tired wasn't the right time. Seats , comfortable. Dash setup , no problems. Storage , very good. So far , none of the issues others here reported
Ford does not provide a written manual. Ridiculous at this price. I ordered one this morning , 50 dollars. Unreasonably cheap on Ford's part.
I'll post a picture after he cap goes on.

Nice looking ride! The leak on my ARE CX Revo is so bad they are sending it back to the factory to be fixed. Some difficulty getting this pic posted , I'm 20 minutes in here!
The ARE cap is nice quality , better IMO than the old LEER. WE had a bit of rain yesterday and I had some leaks . Last time I had a cap put on we had to tweek it to cut back on water intrusion. I don't expect 100% water proof , but closer to that then now is the goal. The color is the carbonized grey and they got the color spot on , the metalic is perfect. They included a small bottle of touch up paint which will also work for the truck. Found time for the first oil change to , at 1320 miles , the Penzoil Ultimate. Took off the front skid plate and could access the filter with a regular filter wrench. I have a Talons Garage skid plate/ cat protector sitting in my hall waiting for the time to install. Wonder if oil filter access will be as easy with the Talons in place as it was this time.![]()

Its rides better than my '11 350. But not as nice as the '08 Grand Marquis. I like it.Nice truck congrats.I have a PB on order an xlt with the 20 inch’s wheels how does you truck ride?I have a 22 Xlt I’m turning in once my new one gets built and was a little Leary on getting the 20’s.My 22 with the 18’s rides really nice but my wife has a Silverado 1500 with 20’s and it rides like a 3/4 ton pretty hard.
Yeah, not sure if it's everything I've done to my PB, but compared to a brand new expedition with similar mass, though distributed differently, I think my PB rides better than the expedition. The factory F150 NVH characteristics were great, but I've wrapped my cab and doors in dynamat and various foam and inside of the cab it is VERY quiet and solid. There's little noises I hear in the expedition than I do in my truck currently. I did the dynmat and foam over several months starting first with the doors. Did nothing to the floor as ford includes sufficient compounds on the floor plus the carpet is very thick and is amazing on its own. I recently did the roof and the back of the cab and under the rear seat floor area.Ride well from new or with break in?
my 21 rode like a dump truck for the first 1000-ish miles almost to the point of causing buyer's remorse but then the shocks seemed to break in and it became pretty well balanced

Off the cuff , from what I remember , MSRP was close to 68k. Not counting tax the final # was around 59k . More than 10% less than sticker. Granger was very good to work with. What was your OTD price for the car?
