Has anyone had people tell you that they have a hard time hearing you when using hands free bluetooth calling with your F150. I keep being told that it sounds like I’m in a car wash when talking to people, even when on a smooth road with no noise in cab. if I disconnect the stereo from the call and just use the phone the background noise goes away.

Unlike higher end luxury cars and most cell phones, there's not any active noise cancellation tech on the F150 mic itself. Instead they mount it to the headliner attempting to isolate it from vibration/road noise. Ford refers to this as ANC (Active Noise Control) not cancellation. Regardless, there will still be some background noise on calls but it's usually not excessive. You can try deleting the phone from the truck and setting it all back up to see if it helps at all.

You may also have a defective mic or it's picking up noise through the harness connection. You can try popping the mic out of the headliner to stretch the harness out and make a couple test calls to see if it improves or buy another one and swap it out since they're only about $30.
