Phantom alert followup. Dealer pulled apart the trailer lug and found moisture and debris. They replaced that hoping it’d resolve it but it happened again on my way home.

I’ve noticed it seems to happen on wet roads.

Just had this same Trailer Brake alert show up on my 23 PB- what ended up happening with yours? Still occurring?

Following up on what my situation was as reported earlier. The dealership ran diagnostics, confirmed the faults reported, and replaced the trailer module. I haven't had this problem since. And thanks to the Ford social media team who also reached out via the forum.

There is a known TSB for this issue (depending on the codes). Multiple threads about it. I had it also on my 23 PB. No issues since the TSB software update was applied. I also had to get a new battery. Since the new battery, no new phantom codes. Knocking on ALL the wood.

Just had this same Trailer Brake alert show up on my 23 PB- what ended up happening with yours? Still occurring?

I was back in after another round of errors along with a random diff warning again. Escalated to the service manager and she got me in with their electronics guru. They ended up replacing two modules including the trailer module and I’ve gone about 1000 miles (7200 total on the truck) without these alerts.
