I did some checking but couldn't find what I was looking for. Out of left field I was thinking about perimeter alarm and checked to see what options I had under settings. I do not show any settings for "alarm". Is this something that needs to be enabled through Forescan? My window sticker, order sheet and manual states that I should have this feature but can't seem to find it. All help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks,

According to Ford's customers support people one of the updates eliminated the ability to change the alarm settings. As appears to be common practice by Ford, these changes are not reflected in the owner manual, even with 2024 model year trucks.

Ford Perimeter Plus for free

Anti-Theft Alarm - Vehicles With: Perimeter Alarm

The perimeter alarm is a deterrent against unauthorized access to your vehicle through the doors and the hood. It also protects the audio unit.
If the alarm is triggered, the alarm horn will sound and the hazard warning flasher will flash.
Take all remote controls to an authorized dealer if there is any potential alarm problem with your vehicle.
Arming the Alarm
To arm the alarm, lock your vehicle. See Doors and Locks.
Disarming the Alarm
Disarm and silence the alarm by unlocking the doors and switching your vehicle on or unlocking the doors with the remote control.
Note: A valid passive key must be located within the detection range of that door for keyless entry. See Keyless Entry.

Maybe this will help, it from 2024 owners manual

XLT 302 has an alarm. It doesn't have the interior ultrasonic sensor. Leave your truck unlocked for a while and go open a door w/ out the FOB, it will greet you (or unplug a trailer).

The ultrasonic provides coverage if the windows are down and let's say you toss a shirt in it, well it will go off. What the ultrasonic also does if you're in the vehicle and turn it off, it will arm and if you move it will go off. If my window is ever open, it's cracked to let out food smell. Between pollen and insects, and depending on location, human animals, the whole leaving windows down just really isn't a thing I'm concerned with. Remote start takes care of climate.

Vehicles with CCD or scales also gets suspension triggers (not sure if active in F150, doesn't specify if VDM is always live). The suspension system trigger is really fun when you're jacking up the vehicle for anything with auto-lock enabled.

The F150 auto arms after an unknown delay regardless of being locked or not.

Go with the Perimeter Plus and call it a day. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...r-f-150-today-🙋🏻‍♂️.1314/page-389#post-438675 . It can also support dog mode.

Impact and GBS would be a nice module by itself. What's dog mode, auto climate remote start? That's part of the standard remote start as is. Forscan can add seats / HSW / etc...

There's 20 versions of it the kit!

Found out I had the motion sensors when I locked my dog in the truck and walked into Aldi.

When you power down with the door closed does it not ask on-screen to disable motion sensors? The mach-e does but based on several complaints it doesn't disable them enough of the time for people to complain about.

I set it up so it will ask me though I don't recall seeing the prompt lately.

If you forscan'd it in and then got an OTA, it could have reverted you. After making forscan changes, save your file so that if an OTA reverts you, you can quickly go back in revert them back.
