This is my 2023 Rocky Ridge Gen 6 Stg 1 Whipple Supercharged Truck. Below is an answer to a question that has been asked by a lot of people on this forum and in Facebook F150 groups! How far can a Gen 6 Stg 1 Whipple Supercharger be pushed? Well here’s a message from Palm Beach Dyno!!! Click on the video and let’s see!!! 👀 Ken and the group over at PBD took great care of me! 💯

Video LIVE on YT!

How far can a Whipple Stage 1 kit really go on the 2021+ F150 platform before needing injectors and a Stage 2 upgrade? In this video, we put a 2023 Rocky Ridge F150 to the test and find out.

We start with a baseline on the factory Whipple Stage 1 setup with 3.875 pulley, then install long tube headers, swap to a 3.75” pulley, and finish it off with a Palm Beach Dyno custom tune. The results are impressive—and they highlight just how much power you can make without touching the injectors.

Since the 2021+ F150 requires blower removal just to change injectors, this is valuable info for anyone wanting to maximize Stage 1 performance without the added hassle.

Injectors do add quite a safety net for extended life from a hot tune. The 1R is an ideal kit to get if you’re looking to have headroom for more, the roval throttle body is kind of a moot upgrade in the grand scheme of things. I’m at 603 to the wheels on a Gen 6 1R kit from Whipple through Ford. This platform is long in the tooth and is now signed over to me so unfortunately no more free goodies under the veil of development engineering but I can start doing more of what I want with it now. It’s impressive what these things are capable of!
