Painted mirror caps and door handles

I have a STX that I love the look of but want to finish it off with paint matching mirror caps and door handles. I custom paint and restore vintage bikes, is painting is not an issue. Should I just buy some generic black caps and covers off ebay and paint them or is there a better alternative?

Either. I bought door handle covers for my STX from Trim Illusions, been 1.5 years, no issues
They also make mirror caps.

Come gloss black, but painted mine silver.
