Thanks for the suggestions, borrowed a buddy’s charger and let it charge up this afternoon, just got the app notification that the truck just got done with the update. Will this one enable the blue cruise finally?
Not yet. You need one or two more.

Better not be a bad battery. Damn thing isn’t even a year old.
The faulty APIM's are causing batteries to discharge slowly. As this happens, things stop working and it eventually wont start, as happened to me and had to get towed in. Auto stop/start was the first to stop and i ignored it. Interior lights stopped working and screen kept going black on me. Apparently all signs of a weak battery. Dealer installed a new one and everything is working again. New APIM is on order but hard to get. My 10 month old truck did it's very first OTA update couple days ago and was the Trailer module update 22S17

Mine failed to update to 2.7.3 for the second time today. Each time it fails it notifies me on my Ford pass app 30 minutes into my commute home. But when I check the updates in the radio when I get home it shows 2.7.3 is my latest update. Is the app wrong or is the radio? I was planning on an oil change this week should I have them replace the battery to be safe these are the only two updates that have said it failed the last update I had was for the trailer whatever update. 1FTFW1ED5MFB63112 thanks for any help.

Mine shows failed 2.7.3 (unknown reason why) but then shows it’s the current version on the head unit ?.

Yea that’s the same with mine and when I look at the update list one of the items was “.x” on the odometer ex 2500.8 which mine has but I couldn’t tell you if it’s new or not.

I have a pic from feb 2022 when my truck hit 10,000.0 miles, well before an update that added the .0 marker ?

Ok. Let me take a look as soon as I can get to my computer. I’ll let you know.

Reason a I ask is if your at a light and the truck never turns the engine off at a light and when you look at the status of auto start stop it says charging that means the battery is bad. Mine did it. Would never turn off. No matter what. I tried everything but once I put a new battery in it works all the time now when it should.

I’ll let you know here in a few
Could you please check mine VIN: 1FTFW1E8XMFB51959
My truck has been at the dealer for two weeks now, with an issue with the AC outlets not working and the USB ports connecting but not charging. They haven't been able to find what it is wrong with it.

I read on a FB group that someone was told that his truck with a similar problem, was caused by an OTA that converted his truck's profile into a Hybrid and there hundres of trucks with this issue, and Ford hasn't found a solution for it yet.
Thanks in advance.

Can you clarify a bit on which USB are not working, Does that include the USB in the bin below the screen? They are on different circuits. If it is only your 110 and usb in the console under the armrest I would check the fuses at the BCMB.

Fuse 34 and 125. I would start by isolating if its all outlets or only certain circuits.

Thanks for the reply and schematics. I have no power on both of the AC outlets, the one at the front and the one at the rear of the center console; and I have not power neither at the USB below the radio and the USB inside the center console.
I didn't test the USB by the AC outlet at the rear of the center console, neither the outlet on the bed.
Attached is the report from the dealer when my son went to pick up the truck last Saturday. At the moment the problem still existed and I told him to leave it at the dealer since I had another week before I would get back home.

Notice that in this report the tech didn't mention neither one of the fuses and/or connectors from your schematic.
The fact that the issue is intermitent and it takes sometime for the truck to be off in order to replicate the problem again, makes me think that it is beyond fuses and/or connectors.
FYI I've being in the electronics industry from over 45 years including troubleshooting of the electronic parts of the circuits as well as firmware and software upgrades. So if you have more schematics that might help to decipher what the issue is please send them to [email protected]. At this point I don't have too much confidence on the tech at the dealership to be able to figure what is going on.
Thanks for all the help.

That’s really strange. They are all on different circuits. The one below the screen is powered by the sync module. So it really makes no sense

Yeah. This seems to be coming up a lot. We hashed this out last night on this thread. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/need-help-ota-2-81-will-not-apply.11074/

You have to start with a healthy, fully-charged battery to do any substantial programming whether you’re doing it yourself manually via FDRS or having it pushed to you OTA. The BMS will cut you off if it thinks you don’t have enough juice to complete the process.
Hey Jesse is there anyway you could check mine and see if it gives you a reason why mine failed. The dealer couldn’t tell me my vin is 1FTFW1ED5MFB63112. Thank you

@DudeitsDenny

I only have access to FDRS and so there's nothing that I can see regarding OTA activity.
But dang you have a lot of updates available
