Has anyone with an aftermarket tune installed on their 2021+ F150 installed OTA update PT-25.15.5 yet? Did you have any issues with your tuning device recognizing the new PCM strategy? Were you able to flash a new tune file without any issues? I'm using an HP tuners MPVI3.

The OTA will wipe the tune. You can reflash the tune, but it will in essence revert the PCM software to the older version. Depending on your tuner and the support they offer, they will either charge you for an updated tune with the new strategy, or make you the same tune you have now with the updated strategy for free (I know Livernois will not charge for this). It is up to you how you want to handle that part.

I'm doing all the tuning myself so no issues there. My tune is based off of a file that was provided by HP tuners in 2023 back before our PCMs were fully unlocked. I wouldn't mind getting a newer calibration as a starting point, but I'm not looking to cause unnecessary problems either.

If all you need are the files, you can get them with FDRS. I would offer to get them for you, but my license expired some months ago and it now costs $120 for a 2-day pass instead of $50.
