Greetings,
My 2021 has never really received any OTA updates, so for the last 3 years I have had to do them all. So today I got it fully up to date again, however one of the updates was an IPMA update that too about 3 hours again. But after that it kept showing as needed so I would run it again, which would only take a few minutes since it had already ran, but it will not leave the "needed update" list. Is this normal or a know bug for that one?

Thank You!

The ACM, IPMA and PSCM are known to not come off the list after you update them, so if they are taking a few minutes, it means they are done.

Btw: The new IPMA update requires you to wear your seatbelt for lane centering to work.

Thank you @rugedraw I was hoping that was the case. Good to know about the lane centering, I always wear my seatbelt, but it seems that my "lane centering" has not worked since I lifted my truck. I will give it a fair test tomorrow since the updates today and check again.

In FDRS, click the IPMA and look for the IPMA calibration procedure. It will ask you to measure the wheel arches and specifically tell you NOT to change that as FDRS is not designed to calibrate the the IPMA for lifted vehicle and will tell you to put the truck back to stock height if you changed it.

Ignore all of that. Measure the wheel arch distance from the ground and calibrate the IPMA anyway. My truck only has a 2.5" level up front and it seemed to throw my lane centering off when I leveled it. I did this on my own truck and had no issues and it improved lane centering after I did it, so it should do the same for you.

If your FDRS license expired, you can do it with FORScan, too.

Hopefully it doesn't make things worse, so try it at your own risk. That's what I did. Lol
