Retired and not looking. I am driving the wife crazy.
I would buy a disable from 4d tech. Easy to install with plastic pry bars and a screwdriver underneath the top of the dash. Assuming they offer one. I put one on my 2023 and 2021.
just looked up 4d tech. They have a compatible on/off eliminator for a 22 , but it does not work on powerboost.

The PB' stop start is more beautiful than a symphony and the reason it is the best powertrain for the F150.

Its a better sport mode than sport mode IMO. The throttle response in sport is a little too obnoxious. T/H will still go into 9/10 gear on the highway but finds the lowest gear the instant you punch it.

IIRC, T/H does go into 9&10 gears at higher highway speeds without towing anything.

Sport mode does not go past 8th gear in my truck, but tow/haul will. T/H will go into 10th past 70mph while pulling 6k lbs of open car trailer in my experience. It will really try to stay there by using the turbos. My point is, T/H can be as calm as normal mode on the freeway by using all the overdrive gears, but acts like sport when you hoof it. It holds gears better than sport, too.

Ok, I don't tow faster than 65mph, so I haven't found what you've experienced and I haven't much experience with Sport mode either. The truck is so fast, (80mph comes in a blink) I've never really let it find it's max for more then a quick romp, before backing off.

On mine, in Tow Haul, for sure, 9 and 10 are turned red and I've never seen them in use. Again, no idea about SM.

No issues I’m aware of from my research. I have the 5.0 with an aftermarket exhaust. In regular mode, cylinder deactivation sounds terrible with the louder exhaust. From what I gather, tow mode deactivates the cylinder deactivation, so I mainly drive in tow mode. Yes, it holds gears a bit longer and downshifts quicker, but It’s less aggressive than sport mode for daily driving.

DUH! Its labeled "Tow/Haul" mode. "Towing" refers to some sort of thing attached to the hitch.... RV, boat, Utility trailer etc. "Hauling" refers having a load of ZERO to 1000 lbs of stuff in the box, cab or attached (racks) to the truck. I use "Tow/Haul" mode anytime I have some kind of heavier load in the truck or going downhill on long sections of road where engine braking prevents excess speed and wear on the brakes.
