Will not hurt anything. As I use it for towing i can’t think why I would want the features for daily driving. Sport mode would be more fun the tow mode.

Just going to change the transmission logic and keep you in lower gears for longer essentially burning a little more fuel. As previously stated…why?

If I have been getting on the turbos I will go into tow/haul to keep the engine running to cool them off.

So with the fuel mileage aside, there are benefits to driving in tow mode

It’s biggest attribute is most evident when driving hills. Tow mode gets the transmission to stay in gears longer and more efficiently. Use the transmission to allow better engine breaking when descending grades.

I use tow mode often when driving around town to keep the motor running and out of auto stop to try and keep the battery charged a little better.

That’s a wonderful idea

I often use tow mode to keep from lugging the engine in town. Sometimes I just lockout the OD gears instead

I has to know. Why don't you disable auto/stop?

I would buy a disable from 4d tech. Easy to install with plastic pry bars and a screwdriver underneath the top of the dash. Assuming they offer one. I put one on my 2023 and 2021.

Tow/haul is designed to minimize ATF heat buildup with a heavy load. A heavy load is when the truck and trailer exceed 80% of the GVWR.
