I was just looking under my truck and noticed that the driver's side leaf spring is off-centered. The passenger side is fine so I just wanted to know if that's normal? I guess I could loosen up the u-bolts, center it and fasten them back down, but I guess I want to know is this a symptom of something else that I should be concerned about?

My 22 XLT is the same. I noticed that when it was new and I was installing my Bilstein shocks. I checked the ubolts to be sure they were tight, which they were and nearly 40k miles later nothing has changed or happened. Unlikely that it will become a problem. Just more signs of the overall lack of quality control with Ford and their suppliers.

My truck was built in the Kansas City plant in March of 22.

Hope this helps.

Same here. 2021, Kansa City, was like that 3 ish years ago. Now it looks like its about to fall off. So I'm looking to re align, unload, loosen hammer/C Clamp it straight? re torque. Saw some posts about loose U bolts that you can re torque on F150's. Saw a few posts about Rangers having same issue. "fanning" ?, one roll pin, one center bolt? Saw one guy did it himself. Need to be sure pin is still intact I think. I think our pins are part of the block material if you have one of the 2 or 3 different blocks. No block (non 4x4), 1" , 1.5" or 2" for Tremor I think. I may get Ford dealer to look at it. But I don't really trust them to respect anything under warranty or fix anything correctly, or ... sometimes.... LOL Maybe good time to put 2 or 3" blocks in too.
Yours look like they will be ok to me. I'd find torque spec and check/set torque on U bolts? Then just keep an eye on them. But I'm no expert.
Anyone have some experience or ideas let us know.

one side in my truck the same, now at 30k no issues. I removed my blocks and still left it alone.
Our leaf packs have 2 center pins, FWIW

To update this, when I had my truck at the dealer's for it's yearly inspection, I mentioned it to them and they fixed it under warranty.

I have the same thing on my drivers side. Do you know if their fix was just loosen, reposition, and re-torque?

I was wondering about that. I'm getting a 4 wheel alignment for $89 but there's no adjustment to rear, I'm hoping they can at least measure it. After they fix the leaf fanning issue. I asked but will ask again once they look at it and give me the diagnosis. I'll let you know. My front is out a bit I think but not rear based on tire wear. FYI: it ran fine for 3 years with slight fanning. Just got worse recently. Also I showed it to the " technician" But I don't think some of those folks are even mechanics. If you talk about pins, block height, torque specs service bulletins, warranty, they get all foggy , evasive and say we'll see what the mechanic has to say. Its hard to get them to ever let you talk to the person who is actually doing the work either. But if they do the actual mechanics usually will explain what's really going on really well. Just my experience.

OMG they wont fix it under warranty, that is up to 35k mi, I'm at 37k mi +.
They want $1200 to order new U bolts and re build. Guy doesn't even know what pins and blocks are are. I smell BS.
Is there a way to appeal to corporate ?
I know I've taken a lot of dirt roads but this shouldn't have happened and it started in the first year.
Anyway if you have this problem get it addressed before warranty runs out.

There opening a case now. I'm looking for old pics of the issue. I think driving washboards is main culprit causing twist that shouldn't twist springs. But what do I know.
Frustrating.
Ford also have deal were they do it a reduced cost to help out. Sounds like a reasonable compromise. I can live with that. Will update .

Once again Ford Motor Company came through and covered %70 percent of the cost.
So getting new U bolts and springs realigned. Should be good to go.
Should be done Mon or Tues because of delay.
Sorry I doubted you FMC.
Thanks to OP Blue22: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/members/blue22.10701/
and guys on this thread and forum for all the help.

Maybe I should add a rear sway bar or stabilizers to keep rear end locked down....

New rear leaf U bolts n nuts porno. Sexy baby....??
FMC and dealership took care of business !!!
Said nuts were not torqued to spec? Not sure if from factory or just loosened? So suggest everyone check yours or have them checked next chance you get..

Would think the only way the lower spring could shift that far is with a sheared alignment pin. It’s rare for a spring pack to have two, usually spring straps are used for alignment.

It definitely has 2 pins but when I had mine off I noticed they weren’t a tight fit so could see the spring move slightly if the ubolts aren’t torqued properly.
