Hello Fellas,

Was wondering if anyone has experienced this. I'm trying to do a couple of the most common changes (like double honk) with Forscan but every time I connect, I only get a handful of recognized modules and none of the ones I actually need. Do you all have any suggestions?

Also, I noticed that while my ignition is on and the motor off, I keep getting this notification that the "System is shutting down to save battery". Thought this might be causing some interference.

I have a 2021 Ford F150 Platinum. Connecting with OBDLink EX using VirtualBox on a 2020 Macbook Pro running Intel silicon.

Any input would be helpful. Thank you!

You need to throw your battery on a charger, you don't have enough charge. The truck is trying to conserve power and it's shutting stuff down. Ideally a power supply would be better for programming/firmware updates. I have trickle charger setup on my battery since I may only drive the truck one or two days a week.

I also use a Mac, but for anything with Forscan or FDRS, you want to be booting directly into windows via bootcamp. The virtual usb ports will cause issues and this might be partly what you are seeing.

Get a battery charger capable of charging in AGM battery mode, preferably a so-called "smart charger" and charge up the battery. Once the battery is fully charged, try your FORScan canges again, but leave the charger on during the process.
