I have a 2.7 stx with under 1000 miles. I have 2 vibrations and I just wanted to see how “normal” they were and/or normal break in period items.
1- idle is “rough”. I read it’s pretty common for a rougher idle with the AC on. I feel it in my seats and it’s worst when in park than drive. I don’t feel it when I’m moving at all. With the AC off, it’s like almost entirely non existent. Rpm’s don’t jump around much and no codes.
2- a throttle pedal vibration around 45 mph. It’s really just that. Starts maybe lower 40s mph and stops upper 40s. It’ll do it in any gear I select (5,6,7,8) and any drive mode. Smooth roads are more noticeable, but any road will do it. Seems like it’s non existent in colder temps. I’ve only had the truck in summer but on cool mornings (under 70 degrees) I don’t feel it. No one else can feel it in the truck, only the throttle has the sensation.
anyone else have both of these items? I can’t really pinpoint what they could be because more major issues would throw codes and other people would feel the sensation if it was a wheel or driveshaft balance issue.
thanks!!!
