I wanted to start a thread on these Nokians as they're made in Tennessee, awesome in the snow, and hit the mark in aesthetics for me.

They're going on, along with a Readylift 2" puck, on Friday. I'll follow-up with photos.

As of now, check these LT275/65R20 out next to a 255/60R20. 32" vs 34". The Jeep would like a set too!

Those look really good. I probably have another 30,000 miles left on my Recon Grapplers. I'll start looking in a year or so.

I just bought a set myself! Can’t wait to get them on, and off of the pathetic stock Uniroyals.

Question for others, any experience using SL vs E rated tires (load rating)?

I went with the light duty variant because I never tow and want the better ride quality. Hopefully i didn’t eff up. They’re not cheap.

Nice! I'd say you made the right call for your truck. I feel like a kid waiting on Christmas to get my tires on too. Make sure to post some photos here once you've got them on!

Finally got the Nokians on!
First photo: Stock 275/60R20
2nd: Readylift 2" puck installed
3rd: Outpost nAT 275/65R20

First impressions, they're quiet and don't feel overly firm. Between the 2" puck and 1" bigger tires, it's a whole different truck though. Finally drives like I want it to. We should have a good snow storm here in the next month so I'll update once I get some snow miles in.

I'm very interested in these tires once my KO2's wear out. Keep us updated on MPG changes and overall impressions!

Would love to know your thoughts on these —

I've been running the Outpost AT for 30k miles. Initially was very impressed, now, not so much. Curious to know how they've maybe upgraded them. Here's my takeawys:

- On road: VERY impressive. Great handling, quiet. Good in wet and dry. I've never once hydroplaned.
- Off road: dry dirt. Average for an A/T tire. They don't really provide much confidence on loose gravel roads. Found the K02 and Toyo AT3 to be much better in this. I like to have fun every once in a while and push my back end around. I find this to break loose and not come back very predictably.
- Mud: despite having large gaps, these do not do well in mud at all. In fact, don't even bother.
- Snow: When I got them, they performed average for an A/T. Packed snow, they are fine. Deep snow, they are GARBAGE. 30k miles later, they are even worse. I can't even get up my driveway if there is any snow at all. I used to be able to get up my driveway w/ K02s in my tacoma in 2wd.
- Wear: as with any tire, they have gotten a tad stiffer @ 30k miles. But they have worn evenly and still behave VERY well on road wet or dry.

I ran Toyo At3s before these in 275/70r18s and was very impressed. They got pretty firm after 25k, but they never let me down (mud, snow and on-road were nice). I'm looking at going either 35x11.5r17 in the Toyo AT3 (actual is 34.5") or 285/75r17 in the Geolander At/4 or Wildpeak At4 (both of these measure out to be 34.1"). The Cooper Stronghold AT and Wrangler Duratrac R/T are also on the short list. Will be buying before next hunting season (late Sept).

I have Outpost ATs as well. The nATs look better. Performance has been to my expectations. Mud definitely not, light show just great, wet pretty great. Very minimal noise on dry pavement for AT tires. Great looking vehicle bud!

light show just great
Interesting split of opinion. I got them (the original AT) due to their light weight and Nokian's rep for making one of if not the best snow tires (Hakkapeliitta). I have yet to experience snow, but found them to be sure footed in the wet. Currently at 10k on them, running at 43 PSI cold.

Far as I could tell the nAT really just changes the sidewall to smooth, with the compound/tread being not much different.

That's exactly my take as well, the nAT really only made the sidewalls more aggressive looking. I've had my ATs for 2 winters so far. Also picked them because of light weight and stellar reputation as a winter tire manufacturer. I have probably 50k km on them running at 36psi cold. Had Nokians on my previous vehicle as well

We've had a few inches of snow in Iowa lately and I've been very impressed with these tires. Especially running in 4A Slippery mode I had to really drive foolishly to get them to break loose on fresh snow on top of packed. Still impressed with how quiet they are on the dry highway of a week ago too. I can't speak on the MPG hit since the weather is skewing it but hopefully next month I'll get some numbers I trust. Overall, very happy with the purchase and I like the "truckier" ride of the LTs too though I'd love to run the SLs for a day just to compare.

Been loving mine! Before and after pics.

I can’t speak for ultimate traction but these have hooked up in 2wd pulling up our steep gravel driveway covered in hardpack snow/ice. The stocks wouldn’t make it up the same drive in dry conditions and always had to switch to 4wd.

Thanks for the feedback - I'm seriously considering the nAT. Have been running the Toyo AT3 for the last couple of years (siped for extra winter traction) but after 30k miles they're not as great in the winter as they used to be. Almost switched to the nAT thinking they would be a decent winter tire but decided to go back to dedicated studded snows (although had to go to a smaller tire to do this - boo) for the winter and will revisit the tire decision in a few months (the lighter weight of the nAT is very tempting). Would have purchased the Nokian Hakkas, my go to winter tire, but they are sold out nationwide. Have the Cooper Snowclaw and am fairly impressed with them.

That's so funny. This was my EXACT scenario. Used to do winters and summers. Had the AT3, thought they were good first winter, 2nd winter not so much. With the price of swapping rubber twice a year decided to go with an AT that sounded promising in the winter: went with the Nokian AT because I had good experiences with my Nokian Hakkas. Will probably go with the Maxxis Razer AT-811 in 35x11.5r17 (34.7x12.1r17)... good reviews all around and a SUPER popular tire down south. If they turn out to be a bummer in the winter (I'll probably go the old route of winter specific tires).
