The good news is my truck is scheduled for production!
Bad news is my dealer informed me that it won't include a TPMS and wasn't exactly sure why. Is anyone else in the same boat?

Your dealer is not correct
The order guide (page 3) for the 2021 F150 states TPMS is standard on all models from XL up.
the guide is posted on this site

Are you talking about the Trailer TPMS and camera system? My dealer told be it was not available yet but it is just a customer installed system once they are available.

It's a Platinum and would come with the TPMS standard. The dealer thought it might have something to do with supply. My window sticker just showed up on Ford's order tracking site and it's listed on it, so hopefully it will be included with the build.

I think you are getting good help here but you need to be clear if you mean TRUCK tire pressure monitoring or TRAILER tire pressure monitoring. The TRUCK one is built in and the TRAILER one is a customer installed add on.

There are many videos if you look up "ford superduty TPMS" and folks have unboxed and installed the add-on. If there is a short supply, you can add it later anyway.

That's a great point. I'll talk to the sales rep to see if that's what he's talking about. I'm referring to the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) that's included with the truck. Thanks -

They can't sell you a new car without TPMS.

The Firestone recall in the late 1990s (which was linked to more than 100 deaths from rollovers following tire tread-separation), pushed the United States Congress to legislate the TREAD Act. The Act mandated the use of a suitable TPMS technology in all light motor vehicles (under 10,000 pounds), to help alert drivers of under-inflation events. This act affects all light motor vehicles sold after September 1, 2007. Phase-in started in October 2005 at 20%, and reached 100% for models produced after September 2007.

Has anyone got any information on this trailer tire pressure system . I received it with my new truck and have the following issues
-there are two sep harnesses that both plug into the same reciever(trailer yaw control is one and the other is the camera/tire press. Harness). Apparently their may be a harness that covers both
- the. Connector under the truck that attaches to the reciever on has two wires , how can that Accommodator a camera , tpms, and the pro back up assist/yaw sensor
-i have connected the trailer tpms and the truck recognizes the trailer but a screen is supposed to pop up to set up the trailer tire presssure but I have not been able to get that to happen and can’t find it on any of the menus

there has to be an answer, my dealer has been zero help and keeps telling me he is checking

I thought, but could be way wrong. The trailer yaw sensor plugs into the truck receiver. If you also have TPMS and/or Trailer Rear Camera it plugs into another plug receiver mounted on your trailer with or near the yaw sensor, that is part of the package (i.e. daisy chained)...?

On the 2 wires out of 12 being connected at the truck, there is speculation the whole thing is wireless communication now and only needs power and gnd. But there is also speculation that a harness (with more wires) needs to be replaced from behind that truck plug receiver going to the front of the truck. And finally there is speculation that Ford just completely "screwed the pooch" on this whole thing, which is why you can't get any info or parts.
