No EcoBoost Badging?

While we are on the subject of badging, I am also not a fan of dealer badging. Some folks don't care, but it annoys the crap out of me. The most obnoxious I have seen if a dealer in MO who puts their badging on the tailgate and on both front fenders above the F-150 badging.

Umm yeah, that dealer badging is ridiculous. That would be gone in a second. I strip away all dealer advertising attached to any vehicle that I buy.

Wow! I don't think I've ever notice dealer badges in the wild, just license frames. I have seen a few Carmax badges though.

That’s ridiculous. I always request that they do not badge the vehicle, or de badge it if buying off the lot... unbelievable.

My dad bought a new 76 Ranchero GT 460.
Had the dealer remove everything that mentioned FORD on the exterior.
“I bought it, I’m not gonna advertise it for ya.”

I always request the dealership NOT place any of their free advertising badges on my vehicles, because that is the first thing I'd be removing anyway. Every time except once they have complied.

Same here. I've never had a dealer sneak badges on after I've instructed them not to.

Finally had time to poke around on the closed (Sunday) Ford lot. It turns out that the Ecoboost does get one single badge on the lower right tailgate.

That was always something I found strange. It has always been the same badge for both the 2.7 and 3.5. It would be nice to have a separate badge for each.
