Nice detail from the mechanic

That's nice when you can find a mechanic like that. At my previous area where I lived the shop that I went to for inspections had a lead mechanic with a '95 Mustang GT so he was super smitten when I brought my '94 Cobra in and we chatted for awhile. He also pointed out a few things I needed to take care of that wouldn't have been obvious to someone who didn't know the cars as much.

Unfortunately I haven't found that yet in my new area.

Nice to find a tech or anyone in the service department that shows they care.

I had a tech and two service writers at my VW dealer that were like that. I got the VIP treatment every time I went in for warranty work. They were all track rats that loved my stage 3 GTI since it had quite a bit of work that I had done to it.
