I never understood the yearning for stubby antennas. Maybe better for auto car wash if you subject your truck to them? For looks/coolness? They certainly don’t perform better. I always thought the originals look as they should.

I advise driving it as is for a while to see what you really need to change to be happy. Congrats on the new truck and enjoy!
Same! I got a loaded up platinum powerboost and plenty of options like the best tonneau cover for was offering.

But I'm keeping the antenna. It's not just a metal stick like I thought it would be when I saw all the complaints.

It's coated in some sort of swirling plastic and for me who hadn't owned a truck since the 80s It's sort of like a measurement tool when I'm going into a garage or something and am not sure I'll fit.

Also, I assume it would work better. I listen to a lot of AM radio.

Now if only ford would have piped the AM signal to all 16 or whatever speakers I have instead of just 2 that would have been nice.

I get that it's not stereo but it sounds better and my car is setup like that.

(If there is a way to make that work that I'm naive about please let me know!)

Lots of great tips, if nobody mentioned: splash guards to keep your running boards cleaner.

And one of those 6-8" nylon rear driver's side release thingies. Nylon web connected to a bracket so it's not such a pain folding that seat down to access the storage available behind it.

The release is here.

But you are getting a 2021 Limited, which I think has the B&O Unleashed Sound System w/ a subwoofer behind the driver's side rear seat, in which case you won't really be able to use that space, so check first!

I also listen to a lot of AM radio like I'm an old man. In fact, its either its VERY one sided political AM radio, or 80s-90s rap from my youth that I never get to listen to unless I'm mowing the yard or driving alone because none of my friends or family can appreciate it properly.

primarily Ill be using car play to stream iHeart or Pandora the music.

I did notice the factory antenna getting man handled by the car wash the other day, so a shorty is necessary.

Oh! You might like this:

https://www.roughcountry.com/product/configurable/bed-cargo-storage-box-10202#2921=10027

I was considering a net to hold groceries when my truck is in grocery gitter mode but just ordered that instead.

It's not really a box... we'll maybe if you order the cover for it but you don't need that.

Those nubs on the top are perfect to hang grocery bags so they don't slide around as well.

I saw those seat back latch straps, Ill need to see if I have the room with the sub back there. But I'm DEFINITELY interested in maximizing the out of sight/inside the cab storage!

And I had one of those storage boxes in the bed of a previous truck. It worked great, as long as it wasn't in the way. I think Ill try out the Tmat system for its versatility.

Thanks
