Need to get new tires and would like to go up a little in size, but not sure what’s safe. Factory (current) size for my 21 F-150 is 265-60-18. I also have a 2 inch leveling kit on the front.
Thinking about going up to 275-70-18. Would this be safe? Also want to make sure it won’t rub.

Thanks! Yes I’m keeping the factory wheels. Do you think that increase would be a significant change to gas mileage (I would think it would some), also curious if it would make the ride a lot noisier.

I'm running 285/65/20 on a 2" level FX4. No rub. You're good at that size for sure.

I changed my tires to BFGoodrich KO2 275/70 R18. Also changed the Rims to Black Rhino Atlas 18x9. My Truck came with the Black Appearance Package wheels with Pirelli Scorpion Tires 275/60 R20.

Truck drives great with the new setup. Milage has not really been affected.

I am on LT275/70/18 on factory wheels and Bilstein 6112s, set at 1.5" level. Zero issues on and off road. Fuel hit, maybe 1-2 mpg. Noise will depend on what tire you get. I'm loving these Coopers, but maybe overkill if you dont pull or do any off road.

Happen to have a pic from further back showing the overall look? I'm on 1.5" with 295/70 and am curious what the 275/70's look like. Thinking I may downsize when it's time for new shoes but don't want to lose the beefy look.

I have 275/70-18 on my truck without the leveling kit and have not had any issues, no rubbing.

My advice is to avoid Load Range E unless you are towing/hauling often. So many dudes go up in size but choose an E tire and it murders their gas mileage.
