New 2021-24 F-150 Recall 25S49 / NHTSA 25V315 & Delivery Hold: Rear Camera Display Freezing

I got a safety recall notice from FORD and it states the my truck camera has been "fully" remediated with an OTA. I don't think I had any OTA in months. My Sync is 25094. Just curious to see if anyone else got the OTA fix yet.

When my truck updated to sync 25094 the recall went away.

They updated my software this weekend when I took it in for an oil change. Once I get home and back into my drive way, boom! Reverse Brake Assist Not Available. Now having to deal with this error. Probably going to have to take back to the dealer. Hoping they don’t try and charge me for it since this never happened until after they applied their update.

That error can disappear on its own. It pops up after some software updates and then simply corrects itself.

I'd give the truck a few key cycles before I declared it a legitimate issue.

Dealer just looked at it apparently they said it has been throwing a code for a few months and said the IPMA needs to be replaced. Unfortunately I’m disappointed on much stuff breaks on this truck, just replaced the BCM 5 months ago. Think I’m just gonna just sell it and move onto something else.

Going to try and use forscan to reset and calibrate the IPMA

Because Ford dealers rather not spend money and train their tech's because throwing parts at the truck is cheaper.

I did get this code awhile back U3000:49-28.

It showed up on the prescan before my windshield was replaced and they couldn’t recalibrate. Buy windshield was replaced and never had any issues and that was 10 months ago.
Didn’t get this reverse assist warning until right after that newest recall was applied. This was a week ago.

Curious if they even tried to recalibrate or reset it when they looked at it. Only thing they said was they verified my concern and referred it to tsb 23-2146. Didn’t say anything else about trying to reset or calibrate.

That code is common across multiple (different) modules and generically represents "internal electronic failure"

From what I can tell, it shouldn't ordinarily present itself as an independent code. It should accompany additional codes that tie to a specific module.
