This has not worked for me.

I am not sure I understand what you’re saying. I am really new to the Powerboost and feel so dumb and I am gear head
Someone posted this image in another thread. It’s the message I was getting. Low power mode. Pushing the +/- button above screen to left did the trick for me. Switches from generator on, off and low power. I pushed till off and things are working again. I have the 7.2k pro power on board

Here's all you need to do. Go in with Forscan and up the battery state of charge to 95%. (AGM batteries perform much better at a 95-100% charge state than they do at Ford''s default 80%) Take the truck out for a good long drive at least once a week.
FWIW, I do none of this (‘22 XLT 302A Powerboost), and my truck runs just fine.
My typical driving pattern is a mile or two each way 3-4 times a week - you can’t abuse a battery more than that.

Porpoise, have you seen any actual data that changing the target SOC actually changes the target SOC in a way that you think it does? I haven’t, but I’d love to see it. Something besides anecdotal evidence.

I'm beginning to think that using Forescan to monkey with the target SOC parameter is quickly passing into the realm of folklore.

I have not checked it on the PB but the first time I did this was in my 20 Ranger and kept an eye on the battery voltages to see what it would do. At the stock 80% setting the truck would bring the battery voltage up to 12.45-12.5v then stop charging.. This would result in the truck entering deep sleep after 2-3 days of non-use. After increasing the SOC to 95% then 100% the battery voltage would read 12.85-13.1v at resting state and could easily go 7-10 days before dropping low enough to trigger deep sleep.

One thing to note is with AGM batteries and what is considered a low state of charge by the industry. These batteries are considered to have a low SOC at 12.4v or 75%. Despite the entire industry recommending that AGM batteries be kept at a minimum of 90% or higher SOC for maximum life span and performance, Ford has decided to set the charging system to keep them right on the edge at 80%.

Who is correct here? The industry that created these batteries or some batch engineers that honestly think that having the hvaac flip to fresh air in winter time to prevent the windows fom fogging up (and fill the cab with exhaust fumes) was a brilliant idea? I'll stick with the people that designed and made them.

First things first please sell me your truck in 10 years when it has 7, 118 miles on it :).

I also have a 2022 power boost and one thing that might just be coincidental but I don't have my Wi-Fi enabled nor do I have my OTAs on and I have yet to have any of the battery issues many people complain about. Might want to disable both of those and give it a try.

I have all that crap enabled AND I have a little kenwood amp pulling off the auxiliary battery with no issues. Granted I use the 2 step start and always keep my blower on 5+ but knock on wood I've never had these issues. I think it's just luck of the draw...

Very well could be. Probably just coincidence for me.
