That's why I went with Adarac. I called and spoke to someone who was articulate, knew their product line and I felt confident that should any issues arise, I wouldn't be fighting some faceless corporation to be made whole.

FYI Adarac makes a roll up cover to go with their rack systems. So no more measuring and praying for fitment. Lord knows I've been there.

Ain't that the truth.

Just remember tonneau covers and rack systems don't always play well together.

I bought the Elevate rack system from RealTruck and they swore it was a seemless match for my Bakflip. But it wasn't even close; it raised the tonneau cover up so as to make it unusable. Fortunately, after much effort and back & forth I was able to return it and got my money back (RealTruck was actually quite helpful in both admitting they goofed and setting up the return).

That’s what I’m going to go with this spring; an Adarac rack with one of the covers they advertise as part of their rack and cover combo. Now I just have to focus on exposing that front stake pocket that Ford covers up

There is a thread a while back that covers how to do this. There is a tool that you can purchase to assist in opening up the pocket but it can be done in other ways as well

Buy this whenever you can find it cheapest (I bought it on eBay and Ford had it to me in less than a week). It makes the process super easy. Attach to a router or rotary cutter (I used the latter):

https://www.ebay.com/itm/175444413859

You drill a hole 4 inches back from the front (cab) end of the rail and 1.25 inches in from the bed (puts the hole more or less in the center of the stake pocket). Then use the cutting bit.

I'll post the instructions I used as soon as I can find them. The rotary bit was AWESOME.

Edit. I've attached the instructions I used. The document is screwed up, but you'll get the idea.

Hello All

I recently purchased a ‘23 F150 with the drop-in bed liner. I’m wondering what bed racks y’all suggest I get. I prefer bed racks that are compatible with bed covers. Feel free to suggest which bed covers are worth getting as well. I’m new to this realm of accessories, and I know that the drop-in liner can sometime limit the options due to compatibility issues.

Thanks in advance
I'd recommend the RetraxPro XR. It's an aluminum cover that has integrated rails. You can then pretty much install whatever you want on it. Depending on what kind of rack you want.

Is this to hold ladders mainly or do you want a flat rack that you can install accessories on? Or a set of crossbars? Do you want a basket?

The nice part about the RetraxPro XR is that it has T-slots so you can slide whatever you want in. I've ran a cargo basket (on 2 cross bars) as well as (what I currently have) a tent + bike carrier.

Here is the RetraxProXR: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/retraxpro-xr-for-2021-ford-f-150-w-5-7-bed/

Then, as I said, there are many options as to what else you can run back there.

It's best to just message me directly to go over options. Here are two demo trucks we built to give you an idea on what you can do back there

Here is a customer's truck we worked on that went with the BAKFlip MX4 and an Elevate Rail System and he also had us put in the Elevate Rack System which has 3 height adjustments and slides on in (again we sell everything you need)
