Has anyone figured out a way to have the car default into eco-mode when you push the start button. I know if you ended your last trip in eco-mode, it asks you if you would like to stay in Eco mode. But can you make eco- mode the default
Not that I am aware of yet. Would love to just leave it in ECO mode. It does ask you if you want to keep it in ECO mode but I normally forget to watch for that until I am pulled out of my parking space and on the road.

it was a false impression on my part. i changed it back to normal mode. i noticed while in eco mode, it requires extra force on the gas pedal to get the truck moving. so ended up the mpg is on part with normal mode.

I had nine moths of hell and then the dealership had to fly in a Hybrid Specislist. He had to “tune” up the synchronization between electric and combustion engine.

My Hybrid still has minor issues but I am learning my truck.
Can someone donate to the forum so we can hire one to tune this the way we want?? I want an individual mode ? want it to be eco as possible, but if I wanna beat someone at the red light I don’t want to wait the millisecond hesitation of eco mode. I guess this called normal mode.

I regularly do 10lt/100 I think it’s 28mpg. But I give up going above 65miles.

if I give up 5 more miles at 60 I see my truck go to electric various sensations and multiple times.

But I have to disengage the cruise or press breaks above certain level to force into electric mode multiple times. I mean come on going down hill 9km without engaging electric?

First post on this forum and my first long trip in my new 2024 XLT PowerBoost. Almost exclusively Eco mode (old habit from my 2018 2.7T XLT) and the trip computer said 26.3mpg but hand calculate it came out to 26.8mpg (and I have not even gone into Engineering mode to calibrate the vehicle computer).

There was definitely a lot of 65-68 mph driving (NH to CT) but there were also some hard on-ramp accelerations and periods of 70+mph.

I'm impressed.
