In my generator mode on test, I left key fob in vehicle. The only difference was door open or closed.
Door open can wake up modules as well. I believe there is a CAN signal that reports the door state.

The "ready" light is for the drive system. Usually means propulsion is active/available.

OK, so this fascinates me. It's of particular interest to me, because I often camp ( boondock ) with my TT and have been obsessed with the PB generator system and it's ICE cycles with no load. A typical example might be when my TT batteries are fully charged and all systems are running on either TT 12v. or propane - a nighttime scenario.

Soooo, as demonstrated in this thread it seems the HV battery is putting out about 1 amp more with door closed ( ready ) mode. That's about 1/2 the output in "ready" mode. Logically ( and I understand logic doesn't have anything to do with it ), it seems like ICE events may be extended by leaving the door open? Weird, huh?

I like where you are going with this!
Except the whole leaving the door open part, of course. :)

As you discovered in another thread, it seems the only way to reduce HV output to [near] zero is to feed 12v ( charger ) power and only in accessory mode. Of course, then you run into the accessory mode timeout.

I just wish we had more remote control. Either via the Ford Pass app or through scripting. Controlling/monitoring generator/accessory mode would be huge and I am sure my fellow campers would appreciate not seeing me stumbling to the truck in the AM before I have my coffee or clothes...
