Something kind of unseen are the underbody splash shields/noise insulators. These have been on most F150s going back a decade so it’s ridiculous Ford cut them out of production. Some may find that a positive due to off-road damage if their vehicle didn’t come with the optional skid plates instead.
The one under the engine and the separate under transmission piece do meaningfully cut down on noise reflected up into the cab for a daily driver. If you’ve ever heard an engine or transmission on a spintron they make a TON of machine noise even at cruising RPM. This gets reflected off the road and into the cab. There’s a noticeable amount of increased noise with them gone. They are available in good condition used for not much money and the holes are still in the frame for the captive nuts. If you don’t need the heavy duty skid plates and do a lot of highway driving it’s worthwhile putting them back on.
