Is there a matrix out there to show which mirrors are compatible with each configuration?

I'm looking at potentially swapping factory tow mirrors (manual fold/ext, lights, BLIS, 360 cam, blind spot) for what I think are lariat mirrors with identical features EXCEPT they are also power fold. I think my tow mirrors might be heated too, but not real sure because I haven't tested it.

Would this work? Would the power fold feature work by chance on this XLT 302a?

If they're Gen 14 Lariat tow mirrors they'll have both power fold and power extend/retract as well as heat. I'm 99% confident that any Gen 14 tow mirror with power fold will have all of those features.

You'll be lacking switches, wiring, and probably module programming (via FORScan) for the features your mirrors don't have. Not sure if your 302A will have the correct Door Modules; if not, it's a much bigger project.

There's threads here with solutions for most every combination of tow mirror swap/upgrade, search is your friend.

Good Luck, Have Fun!

Yes, it will work. Need the wiring harness and the switch assembly (it's cheap)

Harness...

Folding switch assembly is part number ML3Z-14529-CC

If you buy the folding / sliding powered tow mirrors, it should include the trim piece with the extra button for slide.

I'll try to do some more searching. Not really even sure what to look for. Are you saying that my current 302a tow mirrors features (lights, cameras, BLIS, etc) plug and play if I installed the lariat power fold mirrors with the same features and I would be able to use features that are shared, but any features not shared (like power fold) would require modification?

I only have connector diagrams / pin assignments for my Lariat, not for the 302A, so I can not confirm that even the features shared in common would be 'plug and play' functional.

^This, most likely^

Read my post above, there is no more digging to do. You have your answer.

Can anyone help with the pin out for the 22 pin sideview mirrors connectors...I am trying to find which pin powers the cameras.
