Well, they sent me one and I’ll give you guys a review on it. It’s seems to look good and basic but I will tell you if my mpg hit also if my truck seems like air flow has went down.

Here are some photos of the intake without it on. Also keep in mind that I have a K&N drop in filter in my truck so MPG and feeling will vary. Only time will tell.

I don’t know honestly but I can see it as a way to help keep the rubber from flexing too much.

I have seen something like that on Audis (from factory that way) that i have owned. Keeps leaves and debris out of the filter box is the claim.

I see that as well. Especially with leaves.
