Max haul package ride difference vs standard tow package

I have a 2024 F150 XLT, 302a, 4x4 FX4 with tow package, no max tow, Bilstein 5100s on the rear, 3.55 . My towing lbs 10400 , Payload 1800 lbs. I am picking up a new Travel Trailer, 4800 lbs dry , 7000 GVW, tandem axles, 475 lbs hitch weight. I am probably going to add a Dexter 2-5/8” lift kit on the Trailer, and am thinking about having the shop also add a leaf spring (I have two now), before they adjust my WDH. I guess that the additional leaf spring will be beneficial when towing,,,, but will the ride when not towing be noticeably stiffer? Has anyone added the leaf spring to a similar truck?

The power boost option adds between 400 and 450 lbs to an XLT trucks curb weight and maintains 1755 lbs of payload capacity which might be the reason for the heavier 3-leaf springs.

I have test driven non max tows and, had 2022 max tow with fx4 and now the 2025 max tow no fx4 and the non fx4 rides a little better, but i would say no difference max tow and non …

My 2025 Max Tow package Hancooks are load rating 115. Could be the same on none max tow.
