I'd recommend an IGLA immobilizer. I get an insurance discount on it and it's wired into the CANBUS system preventing CANBUS attacks, access to the ODB port, and unless you know where in the vehicle it's installed, it's not getting removed.

Looks like there's an installer in Golden, Colorado.

Summary: You can set it up to require a button sequence to be entered before starting or shifting out of Park. The latter lets you keep remote start. The buttons used are your existing steering wheel buttons. If you fail to enter the password, the vehicle won't start or will shut off. If you don't want to use a password, you can use a passive fob, or a cell phone app.

Regarding voiding warranties. There is a federal law that protects using aftermarket parts on cars. You can look it up. Basically you can use any aftermarket parts from a reputable manufacturer, and you will not void your warranty. This does not cover any home made parts and there is a gray area if you modify your truck beyond its intended use like making it a monster truck or a off road race truck.
The law is called, Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act
