If only you could bolt a transfer case onto the GT500's DCT. That'd be a fun combo.

I am curious what Ford changes to the 10R80 in the Raptor R, technically the 10R80 is only good for 800 NM or 590 lb ft. I wonder what the bottleneck is limiting the trans to that output. I remember the engineer saying the R gets a beefier Hi-Lock transfer case than the regular version but I don’t recall him mentioning the transmission. I wish I grew up in the manual era, I missed out! Everyone says good things about the Tremec in the new Dark Horse.

[My 2ND Ford]

I all ready picked my project, ordered my 5.2 Predator crate engine off Ford Performance website this morning with the controller. I look forward to the overall improvements to my truck, as I will now be living in the cab full time going forward to afford the swap.

I hope you have real good long undies, because it gets brutally cold , and snowy in your neck of the woods. The breeze off of the lake can be invigorating .

Invigorating is definitely underselling it! ?
I hoping @JExpedition07 posts a thread for it. I may drive the ecoboost, but I still want to see it. Maybe I’ll drive upstate to see it when he’s done.

Challenge accepted:

Raptor R powertrain and underpinnings on a standard width F150 body. Should be able to do it cheaper than a Rolls Royce.
